“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow” - Audrey Hepburn

Welcome to Ameraucana Farms!

This small farm grew from our desire to grow food and flowers for our small family of four, but the impact of the current events led us to envision great goals for our community. As we noticed a decrease in food quality and quantity and an increase in food costs in our grocery store, we set out on a high mission to grow, harvest, store, and sell high quality products to our extended community. We hope that this enriches your life as much as it does ours.

We are more than just a farm. We are a place to connect, create, and share. Where families can gather across generations, enjoy wholesome meals, explore self-care inspiration, and engage in hands-on experiences rooted in nature. Our lifestyle is grounded in sustainable living, organic and natural practices, and a deep connection to the land. Nestled in the heart of the PNW, we believe that simplicity, intention, and connection are the keys to a healthy, fulfilling life.

At Ameraucana Farms, our flowers are grown with intention, rooted in the rich soil of our land, and tended with care from seed to bloom. Each stem is cultivated using regenerative and sustainable methods, nourished by clean well water, and free from harmful chemicals. Better for the land, better for your home. We grow with the seasons, offering heirloom varieties, fragrant herbs, and thoughtfully foraged elements that make every arrangement unique and full of life. Most of our seeds, bulbs, and trees are sourced from local farmers and small businesses here in the Pacific Northwest, ensuring our blooms thrive in their native climate. From lush spring tulips and peonies to radiant summer dahlias and autumn textures, our flowers capture the rhythm of the land and the heart of the season. Bring the beauty of the farm into your home, wedding, or gathering, and experience nature’s artistry, grown with care and purpose.

We believe in the importance of regenerative agriculture, sustainable living, organic gardening, and clean eating. While not officially certified as organic, our commitment to regenerative farming practices is steadfast. We embrace simplicity and adhere to natural and organic methods. We practice traditional ways and cultivate homegrown products that are pure and clean for consumers to enjoy without worry of toxic chemicals and artificial ingredients. No chemicals, no shortcuts—just pure, natural methods that honor the earth. We grow fresh goods that nourishes both the body and the soul. We raise our crops and animals with care, ensuring that what we offer is healthy, wholesome, and ethical. From the initial steps of planting seeds, bulbs, or birthing livestock to the meticulous and attentive care they receive throughout their growth cycle until the eventual harvest or sale, every facet of our operation receives personal attention, marked by a deep commitment and unwavering dedication.

At Ameraucana Farms, life is about embracing the joy of creating. From making our own cleaning products, healing salves, soap, or crafting delicious meals with ingredients straight from our garden, we live to inspire a return to basics. Our products reflect our passion for clean, toxin-free living, and our kitchen is always buzzing with the aroma of fresh, seasonal meals made from scratch. We are wholeheartedly devoted to nurturing our entire being—mind, body, and spirit. Our approach to health is deeply rooted in holistic traditions, fostering our wellness through natural remedies, mindful living, and honoring the rhythms of the earth. We cultivate medicinal herbs and use them in remedies that resonate with our beliefs in the power of natural healing.

Our livestock are a central part of our farm’s ecosystem, contributing to its health, sustainability, and productivity. From the colorful eggs of our poultry to the grazing habits of our goats, every animal plays a role in creating a balanced and thriving farm environment.

Poultry and Waterfowl

Our main livestock includes a diverse array of chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese. We’ve carefully selected breeds to create a vibrant and unique flock, each adding its own charm and purpose to the farm.

Egg Production
One of the most delightful aspects of our farm is the collection of beautifully colorful eggs, ranging in shades of chocolate brown, tan, olive, blue, pink, and white.

Chicken Breeds: Ameraucana, Marans, Olive Egger, Barnevelder, Sundheimer, Cream Legbar, Orpington, Wyandotte, Silkie and Brahma.

Duck Breeds: Rouen and Khaki Campbell.

Geese Breeds: American Buff and African.

We are also pleased to offer fertile hatching eggs for those interested in raising their own backyard flock. Our fertilized eggs come from healthy, pasture-raised birds and are carefully collected and stored to ensure viability.

In addition, we have live chicks available for sale throughout the season. These chicks are hatched right here on our farm and are handled with care from day one. Availability varies by breed and time of year, so we encourage early reservations.

Meat Production
We also raise poultry for harvest, including:

Chickens: Red Ranger chickens.

Turkeys: Bourbon Red, Blue Slate, Royal Palm, and Broad Breasted White.

Sustainable Practices

While not certified organic, we feed our flock organic feed, organic scratch, and worms to ensure their health and nutrition. Our birds enjoy the freedom of pasture-ranging, ranging in homemade chicken tractors, and also have access to an enclosed run for safety. We strictly avoid GMOs, chemicals, and antibiotics in our care. Certified as a Washington State Egg Handler/Dealer, we supply fresh eggs to private and commercial customers.

Maple and Cedar

Our small goat herd currently includes Maple and Cedar, who bring personality and purpose to our farm. These goats are part of our vision for a sustainable future. We plan to enjoy their milk and use it to craft homemade yogurt, cheese, and soap. In the future, we hope to raise goat kids to graze the land, contributing to weed control and soil fertility with their natural manure. Our livestock are more than just animals; they are integral to the regenerative systems we cultivate on our farm. Through humane practices and thoughtful care, we aim to ensure their well-being while providing our customers with high-quality, ethically produced products.

We believe that nurturing the land and the environment is both a responsibility and a privilege. Our mission is to farm sustainably, regeneratively, and in harmony with nature to ensure a healthy planet for generations to come.

Regenerative agriculture goes beyond sustainability. It actively restores and enhances the health of our soil, water, and ecosystems. Through thoughtful and holistic practices, we aim to build resilient landscapes that support biodiversity, produce nutritious, chemical-free food and seasonally beautiful flowers.

Our Regenerative Practices:

Crop Rotation: By rotating crops, we disrupt pest cycles and rejuvenate soil health, naturally balancing nutrients.

No-Till or Low-Till Farming: We minimize soil disturbance, preserving its structure, microorganisms, and fertility.

Composting: Recycling organic matter, right here on the farm into nutrient-rich compost nourishing our soil and reducing waste.

Agroforestry: Integrating trees and shrubs into our landscapes improves biodiversity, prevents erosion, and enhances ecological balance.

Holistic Grazing: Our animals graze rotationally to mimic natural patterns, enriching the soil and maintaining healthy pastures.

Biodiversity Enhancement: We cultivate diverse plant species, create wildlife habitats, and support pollinators like bees, birds, and butterflies.

Water Management: Sustainable water practices with collecting and using our own well water.

By embracing these practices, we protect our land, preserve its vitality, and ensure that our farm is a thriving ecosystem. We invite you to join us on this journey, whether by supporting our farm or adopting regenerative principles in your own life. Together, we can build a more sustainable future.
