5. Travel for Consulting Services:

For in-person garden consulting services, Ameraucana Farms provides support within Kitsap County, Washington and select surrounding areas. Travel within 10 miles of Poulsbo, WA is included in the consultation fee.

For distances beyond 10 miles, a travel fee will apply and will be communicated and agreed upon prior to confirming the appointment. Travel fees are based on mileage, time, and any additional accommodations required to deliver the service.

Ameraucana Farms reserves the right to determine service availability for locations outside the standard service area. We are happy to offer virtual consultations as an alternative when in-person travel is not feasible.

6. Use License:

As long as you adhere to these terms, including the Privacy Policy, you are granted permission to use this site for a limited duration and strictly for personal use. This grant is a license and not a title transfer, and under this license, you are prohibited from:

  1. modifying or copying the materials;

We are not obligated to honor outdated pricing, and updated prices will apply to all future bookings, purchases, or sign-ups.

13. Refund & Cancellation Policy:

At Ameraucana Farms, we strive to offer meaningful services, events, and products that are thoughtfully prepared with care and intention. Because many of our offerings require upfront planning, materials, and time, we ask that you please read and honor the following refund and cancellation terms:

Consulting Services (In-Person & Virtual)

  • Cancellations or Rescheduling:
    Sessions must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a fee. Changes made within 48 hours may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • No-Shows:
    Missed appointments without prior notice will be charged the full session fee, non-refundable.

  • Refunds:
    Due to the personalized nature of our consulting services, sessions and add-on services are non-refundable once delivered.
    For prepaid packages not yet started, refunds may be granted upon request, minus any sessions already completed.

  • Weather or Emergencies:
    If we must cancel due to weather or unforeseen emergencies, we will offer to reschedule for another time.

Workshops, Retreats, Events, & Classes

  • Cancellations by Attendee:
    We do not offer refunds for cancellations under any circumstances. Once a booking is confirmed and payment has been processed, no refunds will be issued for any reason whatsoever. This policy is necessary as we reserve your spot and purchase materials based on this confirmed data. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with this policy.

  • Cancellations by Ameraucana Farms:
    If an event or workshop must be canceled by us, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule or transfer credit to a future event.

Product Sales (Including Eggs, Produce, Flowers, live animals, and Merchandise)

  1. All sales are final. Due to the perishable and handmade nature of our goods, we do not offer refunds or returns on farm products or seasonal merchandise.

  2. If your item arrives damaged or there is an issue with your purchase, please contact us within 48 hours so we can make it right whenever possible.
